Most collections are a full-size helmet or a shelf of minis. Mid-Size is for the space in between: a shelf or a desk that cannot take an eleven-inch helmet but wants something that reads as one rather than as a toy.

Spot it: Height. It is taller than a mini by a hand and shorter than a full size by the same, and the proportions are the full helmet's, not the mini's.
02Reads as real across a room
At half scale the proportions hold. The mask sits where it sits on the field, the decals are the full helmet's decals reduced, and from across a room the eye reads a helmet, not a miniature of one.
03Factory extras
Some Mid-Size helmets ship with a factory-fitted visor. Where one does, the product page says so and shows it, because it changes how the helmet reads on the shelf.
04Who buys one
Collectors out of shelf space, not out of teams. Also the office, where a full size is too much helmet for the desk and a mini disappears on it.
