Collector confidence
Display and care
Keeping a shell looking the way it did on day one.
Light is the enemy
Direct sunlight fades decals and yellows clear coat. A shelf out of the sun will keep a helmet looking new for years longer than one in a window.
Cleaning
A dry microfibre cloth for dust. Nothing solvent, nothing abrasive, and never a household cleaner on a decal - it will lift the edges.
Handling
Lift a helmet by the shell, not the facemask. The mask is fixed to the shell at a few points and it is the thing that bends.
