This Kentucky Wildcats Riddell Authentic Speed football helmet is the 2022 Alternate Black look on a full-size Authentic Speed shell. This was the first black helmet in school history.
The photographed helmet is a matte black shell with the royal blue wildcat-head decal and a black factory facemask. There is no visor. You are buying an Authentic Speed collectible. The shell is the large Riddell Speed used for licensed authentic display helmets, in the same shell family and facemask style as the on-field Speed. It is still a display piece. It is not certified for competitive play and it is not game-ready. Authentic Speed helmets include the authentic liner, a 4-point chinstrap, and a Speed facemask.
