About this helmet
This LSU Tigers Riddell Authentic Speed football helmet is the Purple look on a full-size Authentic Speed shell.
The photographed helmet is a purple-to-gold fade shell with white LSU letters and the tiger-head side decal. The factory facemask is the iridescent chrome cage that ships with this look. There is no visor. You are buying an Authentic Speed collectible. The shell is the large Riddell Speed used for licensed authentic display helmets, in the same shell family and facemask style as the on-field Speed. It is still a display piece. It is not certified for competitive play and it is not game-ready. Authentic Speed helmets include the authentic liner, a 4-point chinstrap, and a Speed facemask.
The named look on this listing is Purple. Riddell applies the licensed LSU Tigers graphics that belong to that look. This is the Authentic Speed version of the named LSU Tigers look, not the Replica Speed and not Authentic SpeedFlex. It is officially licensed NCAA merchandise.
Onfield has sold Riddell helmets since 1999. This listing is LSU Tigers, Authentic tier, Speed shell, Purple. LSU Tigers compete in the SEC. Use it in a Tigers collection, a home display, or beside the Replica Speed of the same named look.
Please Note: This helmet is sold for display purposes only and is not intended or certified for competitive play.
